Instructor – Forklift Operator Safety (part time)
Part-time teaching position available with leading Material Handling Solutions provider. Southern California Material Handling has an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift operator who possesses classroom presentation skills.

The Operator Safety Training (OST) Instructor presents a prescribed curriculum to participants who wish to be OST certified to operate a forklift. Many classes are presented at customer sights. Others are presented at SCMH facilities in Pico Rivera, Anaheim and Northridge. SCMH provides class materials and will train the instructor in the curriculum.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must be a certified forklift operator
Strong communication skills (public speaking)
Interpersonal skills (builds positive relationships)
COMPENSATION:
$150 per class taught plus mileage reimbursement

OUTSIDE SALES (PRODUCT SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVES)
Location: Pico Rivera, Orange County and Northridge

Excellent Opportunity for a highly motivated individual who is customer service oriented, self-motivated, and driven. The sales position, Product Support Representative, is responsible for all aftermarket products and services for material handling equipment in a specific territory. Products and services include parts and service work on Caterpillar and other makes of forklift trucks, short-term rentals and planned maintenance agreements as well as other material handling products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

COMPENSATION:
$28K base (includes a pre-tax travel allowance) plus commission. First year target approx. $50-$55K. Top performers are making $65-$70K.

Location: Orange County & Pico Rivera
Excellent Opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a strong record of success in sales. The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for generating continued sales in material handling solutions, i.e., sales of new and used forklifts and warehouse rack systems. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of establishing strong relationships with customers and closing sales. Additionally, the AM must display an ability to relate to people in all levels of an organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Growing and managing existing account base

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree or related experience and/or training
3 or more years of successful sales experience
