SCMH "Forklift Operator Safety Training" class is specifically designed to comply with California Industry Safety, Title 8, Section 3668 and 3650, and the code of Federal Regulations, Title 29, Section 1910.178 ( 1 ).

This one ( 1 ) day course covers the following elements of Forklift Operator Safety:

Introduction to Forklifts:
(i.e. power sources, capacity, load center of gravity, lift heights, effect of movement, attachments)

Guidelines for loading / unloading power sources:
(i.e. LPG, battery power)

Maintenance for safety reasons:
( i.e. OSHA rules for safe operation, daily checklist, and much more)

Classes may be held at Customer Facilities or you may attend the scheduled classes given at SCMH Training Center in Pico Rivera.

CUSTOMER FACILITIES

Classes include course information, rules of operation, student manuals, films, slides written test, certificates of achievement, and operator permits. This is a pass / fail course. The customer is advised of test results for each student.

SCMH FACILITY

Classes include course information, rules of operation, student manuals, films, written test, certificates of achievement, operator permits, lunch, and Practical Training Evaluation. The customer is advised of test results.
